My realtor found this builder for me, however I chose to drive by alone to view homes, as my realtor was booked for today, but I was super excited to see the homes and the community. Our experience with Aaron at Chesmar Homes was nothing short of disturbing. From the very beginning, he was overly aggressive and forceful in trying to pressure us into buying a home we made clear we were not interested in. He crossed serious professional boundaries, even going so far as to reach out to other builders in the area in an attempt to prevent them from negotiating with us — simply because we chose not to move forward with his listing. We received multiple unsolicited calls during the day and an alarming number of late-night text messages — some as late as midnight — all pushing us to buy a home we didn’t want. So I was extremely nervous going into the home buying process for the first time - in addition to adding in the element of moving from Milwaukee to Texas. However the biggest worry was finding a house that would fit my partner Mike and I. However we instantly fell in love with the Durham model which would be located in Solterra. Excited to start the process we met Kim Aguirre who made the entire process smooth and enjoyable! She shared the same joy not only about our journey, Solterra, and our home but also about the Chesmar brand and company.
