Chesapeake Landing Apartments

Went to tour apartment back in Sept and immediately noticed how outdated the apartments were. Thats not what threw me off tho. It was the roach crawling on the window during the tour that the leasing agent tried to act like she didn’t see. The apartment honestly smelled like it has roaches. Too bad because the apartments are affordable & spacious!

So, let me tell you about this place. I've been here since February, 2024 and I must say my experience has been pleasant. 1. Staff at the rental office is pleasant. 2. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. 3. Maintenance is responsive and helpful. I've put in work orders for minor issues and I've got reasonable response times; Anywhere from 1-3 days depending on the issue. Haven't had any major issues. 4. Property is clean! 5. The Gym is OK, you have a couple of treadmills, a bike and some weights; this is also very clean. 6. Management is always sends emails and notices of what's going on around the property. 7. Neighbors are pleasant and everything is considerate of one another. 8. Haven't seen that much rodents. Maybe a couple of spiders but no roaches or mice. Overall, this place i

Detailed move-in instructions and process. Only been here 2 months and i have constant maintenance issues. PLUMBING in particular. They respond kind of fast but i usually have to place another work order in a week or so. The Gym being connected to the rental is pointless. Its a room smaller than an apartment and only open during office hours.

Nice complex, it's usually quiet but every now and again, you hear a domestic squabble. When I visit my girlfriend my vehicle is safe and there is plenty of free visitor parking. The 3/5 rating is for the apartment. My girlfriend has been dealing with a mouse infestation in her building and I have seen a couple myself so until they get that under control, I wouldn't recommend.

We are new to the complex and excited about moving here! I had to post this review because Lisa in the office is incredibly amazing! We had an issue with an early delivery to the new apartment and Lisa was so patient and worked with us to ensure that the situation was handled all within the rules of our lease. She explained the rules in a professional manner and we were able to work out the situation so that the boxes were not left overnight. I feel very pleased in moving here knowing that Lisa is on staff and have the care about our concerns as new tenants. Also, the phones are always answered in the office and we have never seen this type of customer service as we lived and searched at other complexes. Very impressive!
