My experience with this company was awesome. I qualified for a great home that I lived in for 2 years in a nice neighborhood. Great communication with management and maintenance from day 1 until I moved out. Thank you so much to their team especially June, she was my contact point for any issue. If I didn't leave Charlotte I would have stayed with them forever. Honestly I love this company better than the bigger ones in Charlotte as I've dealt with at least 3 for the 10 years being there. If I ever come back I'll check them out first as you reading this should check with them first

We started renting in 2013. We moved out July 2017. The four years there were (for the most part) uneventful. They sent folks out when requested (sometimes stuff was fixed, others beyond their control) and it was easy to pay every month. We left the place spotless (thank you cleaning service) and received all of our deposit back.

Do NOT rent from this office. They are all rude on the phone and bring renters in with what seems like decently low prices but the homes are not taken care of at all. Knobs falling off doors, broken closet rods, etc etc.My family rented in East Charlotte for two painful years. From day one, we had to fight them tooth and nail to get anything fixed or addressed in our place. They left us without an oven for 4 months after it went out randomly. It wasn't until after going in person and giving firm ultimatums that they sent an electrician out. There were other electric and foundational issues we reported from time of initial walk through. This was my first home buying experience and I must say, until recently it was very nice! I have been trying to contact this property for MONTHS! No one emails me back nor returns my calls! AND THIS IS FOR PAYMENTS!!!!!! I literally had to file a complaint with the NC state because they will not answer the phone so I can make my LAST PAYMENT on a eviction! I got evicted short of completing one month of a full rental leasing, and yet i have tried REPEATEDLY to see where to send this balance to, who to talk to, and NOTHING. It is like they want to have your credit ruined and wont even allow me to pay them! How can a company REFUSE money? How can they legally IGNORE someone who has a financial responsibility? Please run far far away from this company. They are not a respectable company!

I lived in a triplex unit managed by Charlotte Rental Properties for almost 3 years (May 2017 to Feb 2020). The property was very reasonably priced considering its location. The staff, especially June and Eddie, are very friendly, helpful and easy to work with. Every maintenance issue was addressed within a reasonable amount of time and the lone emergency request, my first year there during the week of Thanksgiving, was fixed the next day -- a fridge of all things. It was replaced with a brand new one in time to save all the food I had just purchased! Charlotte Rental Properties, as I understand, has been family owned for decades and it shows.
