Charleston Place Apartments

Lived here for 3 years on the 3rd floor. Honestly it’s not too bad as people say but they increased my rent $100 each year until it was unaffordable on the 3rd year. Higher ceilings on the top floor but no elevators. The roaches were defiantly a problem even though the guy comes once a month to spray. Honestly, you pay for what you get at a place like this, just expect the good AND the bad. At least the maintenance guys are nice.

ROACH INFESTED . All the workers who work here live there . There was one maintenance guy who was really nice . TROY the office assistant manger I got him on camera telling the maintenance manger he was so happy he didn’t have to give any deposits back. I was ready to break my lease until he told me he will give me an eviction notice. They said the had pest control coming every month they one they did have came but the new one NEVER SHOWED UP … the worse place I ever live in . Pleaseeeeee be careful and . The property manager Tasha she don’t care about nothing . She walks around when the whole property is being inspected that’s all. I seen a lot of people move in and out with in a month . Rent will go out and 3 weeks later will go down a couple dollars !!!!!!!!!!

Im leaving this honest review with disregard of what the property manager has to say in response. I was promised a clean and comfortable place to live. After waiting some time I was able to finally get keys and move in. Bringing a total of 4 bags and 2 boxes me and my children slept ONLY 1 night and moved out the following morning! We inspected the unit only once and didnt notice anything as it was the daytime and the walk through was rushed. We all know Roaches come out at night anyway. Nonetheless, we came back several hours later that same day to just get a feel of the unit and leave some of our belongs in the unit which were again like 4 bags and 2 boxes, Until our movers were to bring are things the next day. They don’t try to fix anything in the apartment, they have roaches, leasing office don’t communicate!

Very awful place to live at. Poor maintenance! Poor Management! you will hear gun shots at nights people fighting and garbage all over the place. Nothing good about this place. Roaches, roaches, roaches they will send you an email every last Tuesday of each month, that pest control stopped by and it was a lie they never came and sprayed. I complained numerous times about the roaches, ceiling and bathroom leakage and nothing was done. When I moved out of the apartment. I was shocked that I was hit with bogus charges about counter tops damages, additional cleaning fees, miscellaneous fee which totaled up to half of my deposit. Upon moving out I cleaned thoroughly, nothing was left in the apartment and no damages whatsoever was done. I even took pictures of when I moved out and showed the st
