Charles Point Apartments

My lease ended months ago and just got this letter stating that they took all $2,975 of my deposit plus want $1,105 more because of “pet damages” and one broken toilet lid. My last month of this place I had someone break into my truck not one camera in the area is for your safety. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

I lived in those apartments for a year, there’s no parking whatsoever so when I found a place to park people would leave mean messages on my car and vandalized it, finally my locked car got broken into and many things were stolen. Charlespoint did not help me one bit. Rude and unhelpful. Not to mention the walls between apartments are so thin you could hear if someone like sighed

Cynthia and staff are wonderful at Charles point! Lived there for 8 years. Any problem that arose, I was able to call and get it fixed. Which didn’t happen often.

Charles Point enables crime and may abruptly terminate your lease with no cause. I am a current resident, although not for much longer. Management has chosen to terminate my lease without cause and will not reveal any further info, helpfully citing that Oregon law doesn’t require them to do this. If you are a clean, quiet tenant who pays rent on time - be warned, they may still choose to take your home away with no explanation. Crime in the neighborhood is also rampant. My girlfriend’s backpack, laptop and switch were stolen out of her car. After calling the police and filing a report, we approached the office and asked if they could be of any assistance with camera footage. We were told in clear terms that there are NO WORKING CAMERAS anywhere in the area despite signs to the contrary.
