Chaparral Apartments

July 2017: mgmt is working hard to dry out the tennis courts - almost there. Much appreciated. 2016: I've loved living here - I've been here for the fall of 2016, and expect to stay into the spring of 2017. Our apartment is lovely, the grounds are great, and the people who work in the office and in maintenance are really nice, competent, and professional. The rent is more than fair for the area, the laundry room is clean, the pool is beautiful, the parking lot is safe and well-lit with lots of extra spaces, and best of all, TENNIS COURTS. And ravens. Thanks for a great short-term rental!

Was a great community until the slum lords took it over. I have to move since I do not qualify for Bond. New management is clueless and has too many apps to collect rent and utilities with all different monthly totals. Worse yet have been threatened with legal even though every bill before their messy takeover was early to on time. Units are aging and they have obviously no intention of keeping them in repair. Another affordable place in Palmdale bit the dust.

Just a warning to those freshly moving in to take your own pictures and videos of the apartment and save for move out. I was being charged out of my deposit for damages that were there prior to me moving in. Luckily, I took pictures of the apartment and kept for my records and informed the apartment management so they could revise a few things and even then there are a lot of things I'm being charged for unfairly. I was told by management “sorry I usually just submit the charges without looking over all the pictures” So that means they are definitely charging tenants unfairly and if you don’t look over everything you are giving them free money. Another warning as well, sounds very silly, but KEEP THE SMALL KEYCHAIN THEY GIVE TO YOU OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED $25. All keys were returned at mo

Leaving an in-depth review from my experience being here for 3 years. Not really any deal-breaker issues, and overall it's a decent place, except what you're getting relative to the price. IF it was was more reasonably priced and had in-unit laundry (note, the laundromat isn't open 24/7), it might be 5 stars, but at the rate they charge it barely makes 4, and the initial advertised rate is less than what you'll be paying long term, especially with the monthly fee+utility rates here. That said, it's still somehow one of the best apartment complex communities you can find in Palmdale. What you're paying for is a dated interior with ancient utilities, and I had to put tape on the bedroom windows to try to help keep the cold out, since they're very thin and rattly—they definitely rack up the h

This is my second time living here, and I highly recommend it. The property is always very clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. Whenever any issues arose, they were quick to address and resolve them in a timely manner. Unfortunately, my car was stolen during my stay, and I've noticed a number of homeless individuals passing through the area, which has been concerning. Despite this, the overall experience has been positive, and I appreciate the efforts made by the management to maintain a safe and well-maintained environment.
