I highly recommend against living in Channel House. Rarely is someone in office during their set hours as the staff splits time between Channel House and Vine (neighboring sister complex). Additionally, the complex manager, Emily Long, has extremely little knowledge about apartment pricing and market value. When hoping to renew, she refused to work with me on the renewal cost that I believed was roughly $450 above market value. She told me if I didn’t renew, they would list the unit for the same price I was being quoted. Sure enough, when I didn’t renew, it was listed for $425 less than my quote. This goes to show the leasing staff have little regard for keeping current residents. Also frustrating with this complex is the parking garage and lack of resident events that a monthly fee on top
Living at Channel House has been awesome! I have been living here for a few months now, I moved in December of this last year. When first moving in, Zach Rambo, their leasing specialist, gave me a great overview of the Apartment, as well as giving me information about the North Hills area since I had just moved from Oregon. He made the move in process super easy! Ever since moving in, any questions I have had about the place, he has been super helpful in getting answers for anything I have had so far. Zach is very attentive and wants to help people, and you can definitely see that in his work ethic! I am really appreciative of their team, and there maintenance crew is also great. They came in and replaced my blinds, due to an issue with one of the sides not working. They were very efficien
Visited Raleigh for a potential new career opportunity and toured this community. The area was amazing so close to my new job. The tour was great the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They solved all of my worries and concerns about my big move and I could see myself living there. Great amenities and service were apparent! I can’t wait to see if this is going to happen for me!
I loved channel house when i first moved here. Whitaker is amazing, Emily is absolutely awful. Management is money hungry now, they’re not nice & they would do anything to get another dollar from you even when you’re paying 2k a month. Idk if Brandon quit but he was also amazing. Steer away from living here. They try to break your lease & charge you extra, also Emily was very mean on the phone with me she is not nice. Also i walked into the elevator one morning full of puke, also almost every day i would walk down my hallway there was dog poop! I love my neighbors dog but come on. Don’t live here. Go to any other lane residence i don’t think Kane is the issue. Only the people running channel.
As a previous resident of Channel House, I can attest that this apartment complex has really gone down hill. One of the reasons I decided to move out was the changes to the parking policy. Residents are charged $50 monthly for parking when it was previously free. They have also allowed increased parking for North Hills patrons and customers leaving resident parking more limited. Residents of Channel House are also now being charged for guest parking if they surpass the 5 overnight free stays. On top of this, changes in management have affected the quality of living at Channel House. Residents are told to stop voicing their complaints for noisy neighbors and are not listened to when voicing other concerns (including deleting google reviews). Another reason I decided to move out was the resi
