Ceres Plaza

I lived here for near 8 years and can say I will miss it. Jackie is a fantastic manager and makes you feel like you really belong there. My apartment was fairly outdated once I left but not much you can do about that when living at a place for near a decade! Though I was near the street, the noise wasn't much bother and I never felt like I was at risk for break-ins etc. The maintenance folk are also really great, I had some of my best conversations with Adam while he painted or worked on my apartment. Thankful that this was my first and last apartment, great experience overall.

I have lived at Ceres plaza apartments for two years now. I truly think that this is one of the best apartment complexes in Chico, especially for the price. The office ladies are very nice and helpful, the grounds are kept landscaped on a weekly basis, and it's a quiet part of town. It is in a residential area away from the schools so you don't get too much noise. I feel safe running around the neighborhood by myself. Whenever something is not working properly we just let the ladies down in the office know and they are more than happy to fix the problem with in just a day or two. Each time they have gone above expectations and all with no cost to us. It's really been a great place to live.

I notice people only seem to leave reviews when they are angry. Ceres Plaza was hands down one of the best places I have ever lived. I lived in one of the single room apartments, it was clean and kept in good condition. If I ever had an issue with ANYTHING, Ceres staff was quick to get it dealt with or fixed. Great place to live, and completely reasonable rent for Chico.

Great place to live. Been here for 13 years

I've lived here for almost two years. Any repairs I've needed were dealt with promptly (they had a guy out ON LABOR DAY within an hour of me telling them I didn't have hot water). And yeah, you're not gonna get much of your deposit back, because the deposit was only $400....carpet cleaning and repainting isn't cheap. When a management company takes all of your $1000 deposit, then you can complain. Also, cigarette smoke DOES ruin an air conditioner. Future tenants don't want to rent a place that stinks like cigarettes when you run the A/C.
