Be careful purchasing any property represented by Jo Mullins, we purchased the house actually across the street from her own house. She was representing sellers James and Kim Hollis in the sale. It is clear that they were banking on the buyer beware laws in Alabama when they listed this house on MLS, as a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house… in reality it is not a house, it is an illegal structure that was constructed without permits (NONE). As it sits now it can’t even be used as a storage building, it was built 2 feet below flood plain, and has been condemned. It will cost in excess of $60,000 to correct the issue with this house, and we have not been able to occupy it since our purchase on 11/6/23. The broker, Century 21 J Carter, Jo Mullins and seller James and Kim Hollis have refused to answe
