Centre Pointe Apartments

My son lived here for 1.5 years. He noticed mold coming from the air vents. He reported it immediately. The staff there basically told him "don't talk to us, talk to our lawyer" They " let" him break his lease. Gave him ten days notice to vacate so that they could repair the apartment. By the time he left his mattress and furniture and shoes were covered in black mold. He left the moldy furniture there for them to deal with at which point they said he broke his lease. Horrible people and horrible customer service

We have lived here for two years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is always a clean, well kept apartment complex. We love using the amenities. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The maintenance team is also very friendly and is quick to fix any issues, and always follows up. Although in the city and in a somewhat high crime area, we found it to be very safe, as long as you follow common safety practices. We never felt unsafe or concerned. Would definitely recommend living here! Loved being able to walk to Tanger and other places nearby!

Extremely overpriced for the area. Second and 3rd lvl hallways are filthy. They only power wash and maintain first floor.

Military and Department of Defense employees, please be very careful with these apartments. The regional manager, Lisa Hernandez, is very disrespectful and unprofessional with service members. After being approved and paying a deposit, the property backed up and gave pushback for no reason. They had shifting requirements and arbitrary requests. Unfortunately, these apartments are not trustworthy for your family or to spend your hard-earned money. However, the only good thing about this place was Jessica, the lease agent, who was very professional, respectful, and helpful. As someone who just moved to the area for military reasons, I would avoid this place.

Overall a very comfortable and convenient place to live, though the surrounding area is sort of meh. The staff are friendly and quick to respond to any issues. Moving in and out were both a breeze. The appliances are all very new and work great. The complex is kept clean and is landscaped well. Plenty of natural light comes in through the large windows, and the apartments have good artificial lighting. The noise from the road is quite bad on the east side of the complex and the noise from the airport is bad everywhere. However, the airplanes fly all over North Charleston, so it is somewhat unavoidable. The nature in the wetlands nearby is fun to watch. I saw several bird species, fish, a few species of frogs, turtles and alligators. The area around the complex is not great for walking and
