Central Florida Building Inspectors

We had an outstanding experience with our home inspector, Ernest Matthews with Central Florida Building Inspectors. He was incredibly thorough, walked us through every finding, and took the time to answer all of our (many!) questions about the house. We also really appreciated his honesty and straightforward communication—including recommending that we reschedule when our builder liaison originally set the inspection before the home was actually ready. He worked with us, focused on our areas of concern, and made the entire process feel clear and manageable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone buying a home.

Luzmarina provided a very detailed pre-drywall inspection! She was on time to the inspection and gave us a good overview of what to expect. She also asked us for any concerns we may have so she can be sure to provide a thorough review and explanation. Our report was very detailed, easy to read and sent out less than 24hrs later. Getting our appt scheduled was super easy too! Will be using again.

Let me preface this review by stating I originally was not going to bother leaving a bad review but the back and fourth emails going absolutely no where has pushed my patience to its limit. I originally did not mind paying $1400 for a home inspection because I thought "oh , they must be very detailed and go the length for the client." After the inspection report came back and i noticed the wind mitigation came back with just toe nails marked because the inspector did not dig further into checking the 3rd nail on the hurricane straps. CFBI told me I needed to get a roofer out to confirm that there is a 3rd nail and take a photo from 3 different locations to be able to update the report. I hired a roofer immediately, had him inspect the roof for multiple hours and he took photos of 3 differ

The home inspection with CFBI was a great experience. From the booking, communication before during and after the inspection, and the great experience, I would highly recommend this company for all your home needs. They were able to walk me through every step and answer every question I had. Hamza our inspector was especially kind and knowledgeable. He answered every question with thorough details and gave great advice. CFBI was able to make the inspection step of the home buying process the most pleasant and easy to accomplish. I will be a returning customer for life!

I was very impressed by the exceptional customer care from the first phone call all the way to Finalizing my appointment. Although I had a short timeline to get the inspection done, they fit me in immediately. I received very detailed report and instructions hours later.
