Cedar Commons Apartments

Lived here for 5+ years and moved out when I could take no more of Girard. Crime there is a joke. My wife’s car was broken into, all four of her tires were slashed along with dozens of other cars in a single night. I’ve had my car towed despite having the right parking pass clearly visible, and when I tried to give Girard photographic proof that I had my pass, they tried to tell me it was still my fault and had to pay $300 to get my car back. The units themselves are dirty, grossly outdated, definitely not worth the rent of what they’re asking. Neighbors can be extremely noisy and if you contact management, they won’t do anything about it. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere to live, as long as it’s not a Girard property

This place is disgusting. Mice roaches and bugs every where. Charges $100 per lease renewal for NO reason. Your car will be broken into multiple times, wether it’s in the garage or outside and they don’t have cameras ANYWHERE so they can’t do anything about it. The managers have horrible communications and will answer 3 months later but only AFTER you cuss them out, which is when they threaten to kick you out even though you’ve had a serious problem with no response for 3 months. They steal your money and no they don’t care. Elevators don’t work, and most importantly the “sercured locked doors” don’t work. They don’t lock.Lots of drug dealers living there so you get people constantly in and out with hallways smelling like week. SAVE YOUR MONEY FIND SOMEWHERE MORE AFFORDABLE WITH BETTER SEC

This is girad management under newly created page... cedar commons is girad management, literally one of the worst slumlord apartments you can get in the twin cities. I'm sure they created this page because of the awful reviews from there original page... apartments do not look like the newly renovated model pics you see...these apartments look the same as before girad management took over... noisy neighbors, 40 cars got there tires slashed, the police are here ever day or night,dont be fooled.. renting here will be the worst decision you ever made in your life

I’m very happy living here at cedar commons I love my apartment we had a new young man by the name of O he is super efficient and he gets the job done without any problems and he is a very nice man I wish I could give him ten stars thanks O for all you do

2017-2018 If I could give the management zero stars, I would. Literally the worst place I’ve ever lived in my life. Just don’t do it. Would never, ever recommend anyone live here.
