If I can leave zero stars, I would. This management company is the worst. And even if they manage section 8 NYCHA developments it’s even more horrrible. They will constantly go up on your rent even though your income is low. They give you a hassle with trying to transfer, request any type of fair hearing or doing any type of income change paperwork. They drag the feet with everything. Quick to try to terminate you. How do you expect people to pay a set amount of rent when they don’t even have that income and struggling as it is. If your NYCHA section 8 is under this management please run quickly and try to transfer . If your Housing Connect apartment is under this man an don’t take it you will regret it. They don’t care about the hard working struggling people. All they care about is MONEY

My mother lives in a building east Harlem. She has chronic asthma and the smell of dog feces lingers in her apartment because she lives on the ground floor. Someone that use to live next door to my mothers apartment was moved to another unit because of the same smell. They refuse to help my mother, she has been to court and no one is helping her. Again!!! She has chronic asthma and the smell of dog feces is very dangerous for your respiratory system. This management has 91 complains and 51 violations. I hope and pray nothing happens to my mother’s health. The lady that lived in her apartment before her passed away from cancer. Who knows what was really wrong with her!!! We need answers!! And we need my mother moved ASAP!!

I'm applied and they we're very responsive to my emails, I almost got approved for an apartment but had already signed my lease else where, not sure why everyone is getting horrible experiences with them, I'll for sure apply again in the future if needed.

C&C apartment management are horrible‼️ They are worst than NYCHA. They never answer calls or emails. They never clean the buildings. We don't have a super. They don't upkeep the maintenance of the building and it's failing apart. If you need something repaired it will never get fixed. Sometimes we don't have heat or hot water. Make a HPD complaint in order for something to be repaired. Which doesn't make since to pay for fines and violations. If it's an emergency. You would have to call the fire department if it's a major emergency bc C&C does not respond. You don't know who to contact at times bc, they constantly have new property and asst property manager. Staff lose your confidential documents. All the staff work from home and they are not telling people the office at 1735 Park Avenue

When I originally left my review, there were over 200+ one-star ratings, clearly I wasn’t alone. It looks like those have since been removed, but my opinion hasn’t changed. The management here is incredibly unresponsive. They rarely answer phone calls or emails, and fail to meet even the most basic expectations of apartment management. Trying to get help from someone who can actually resolve an issue feels like an impossible mission like crossing the Red Sea and climbing Mount Everest, only to maybe hear back (but probably not). I never leave reviews unless the experience is exceptionally bad, and this is one of those cases.
