Castlewood Apartments

This is a delightful place to reside. It is a peaceful environment with a family friendly quad area for activities. The staff is friendly and maintenance is quick to respond to repair requests. I would recommend Castlewood Apartments to people looking for a good place to live.

Castlewood is just like a phone company it comes with hidden fees. I am not a smoker and have never been but I have a $25.00 account charge due to butts being underneath my balcony. The people that live out here are rude and very disrespectful. When I first moved out here everything was good but as the months went on things got worse. I have been asking the manager to come fix my a/c unit in my second room since I moved out here, which is almost 7 months ago, and no one has yet to come fix the a/c which is going to be my daughters room. Also, my ice maker in my fridge has never worked and no one has yet to come fix it. The apartments at Castlewood is not worth the price, park place seems like the better option of the two. I am not renewing my lease due to the problems I have out here! And

Being single and in my 20's I have lived in a couple of the apartments around the Valdosta area and visited many more and I can say that I finally found a gem. The landlord is open and friendly, and gives you all the information you need without dodging any questions. I haven't yet had the need for maintenance to visit me but from what I have heard from neighbors they seem to be friendly and professional, while being competent. Something not every apartment complex can offer. I've lived here for a year so far and the best parts about Castlewood, to me, are: 1.) Its quite. (read: No loud parties, no 'block parties' or parking lot parties that can sometimes plague other apartments here) You SEE your neighbors much more than you HEAR them. We have lived in Castlewood for a year now, and most defiantly resigning our lease. It make not be in the best location ever, but our manager really gets things done and constantly does things to improve the complex.
