I had to transfer to a 1 bdrm from a 3 bdrm, which was pretty much just as bad. Had problems with electric, one room light switch controlled the ligh and all outlets for 2 rooms. I transfer to the 1 bdrm, stove didn't work, got replaced with another old stove, the fridge is not working, they didnt replace that yet. So I been here all weekend with no fridge. Now I here them vacuuming the hallway. Um, I think the things you need to repair/replace is more important than vacuuming the halls right now!! I hate that I had to stay with this property. But I have 2 ESA cats, and couldn't find a place I could afford that accepted animals. I so want to post pics of the toilet, tank is black and bowl is brown with major rust stain, and the tub that I spent over an hour trying to get clean, but I guess

So I received a 5-day pay or vacate notice for non-payment of 100.00 for January rent after continuous complaints about heating issues since November. Furnace went out in Dec on those artic cold days and when calling after hour maintenance they ask me what was the temperature outside before they could do an emergency maintenance request. I explained I was sitting in the bathroom under a heating lamp trying to get dressed for work. January I called to rectify and see how to resolve the issue for rent because it was marked maintenance request completed and I walked in to a small space heater in my livingroom. They told me they have forwarded my emails and I said no one is returning calls so from the 1140 rent I paid 1040. This didn’t take in account for the missed day of work or hotel stay,

Based on my experience, Westgrand on miller parkway apartment complex had cleanliness and maintenance and Management issues. The unit was not properly cleaned as stated before move in. Ongoing roach problems! Management was difficult to communicate with and often slow or unresponsive. This review reflects my personal experience and is shared to inform prospective tenants.

My Daughter called several times to get someone on the line so that I may view this unit. The number outside of the building is incorrect. The staff is very unprofessional at one point I heard someone from their office arguing with my daughter when she called My Daughter. The staff is tacky young people these days they have no decorum at all and yet employers hire people like this. They need to vet people more carefully.

AWFUL does not begin to describe how terrible tenants are treated here. Carnahan will not turn the heat in in the hallways. Our small, inadequate laundry is broken again. 3rd time this year. and it is only February. No matter how much you complain, Carnahan does not fix anything. Their idea of fixing a faulty electrical outlet. is to cover it up. Their cure for the roach problem, was to lock our garbage chute. So the roaches just moved into the apartments. Most of the current tenants are Hispanic and or illegals who are used to being homeless. They have no morals. Carnahan prefers to rent to these Hispanics/Mexicans because they will not stand up and complain. Find elsewhere to live. You WILL be taken advantage of by Carnahan. As for mail, its finders-keepers.
