Everything about this mortgage closing went wrong. We have bought and sold multiple properties including one overseas that was much easier than this closing. This closing has apparently been managed by people who seem like this is the first time they’ve ever done this. We had to resubmit or re-explain almost everything up until and including the last moments of closing. We had to re-submit several documents at the last minute. We had to submit documents on the last day that could have been submitted weeks ahead but were not requested until the day of closing. We paid over 0.5% higher interest rate than the mortgage company website claimed we should have received without any attempt of explanation.
