Canterbury Crossing Apartments

Since its been remodeled its nice and clean. They are now technically the projects because they are income based and government assistance thru Hud. The management is on point and are readily available for any issues. After being homeless for a year and up to that point always had a home this place has been a blessing and refuge. For the most part its quiet and safe!! No smoking and being towed fast are the only issues that I have had. But rules are rules and must know that visitors can only park in spots facing the street even if unloading groceries or laundry! $400 charge and they be circling the parking lot ready to tow! Other than that and that u will be fined and evicted if you smoke inside would be the reason I did not give 5stars.

Living at Canterbury has been such a great experience for me and my family! Angelica and her management team is always so friendly and quick to respond whenever we have a question. Communication is clear and helpful, which makes everything feel organized and stress-free. Maintenance has been incredible. Every request we’ve made was handled quickly and done right the first time. It really gives peace of mind knowing things get taken care of so fast. What I love most is how family and kid-friendly the community is. It feels safe, welcoming, and there are always friendly neighbors around. My kids love it here, and that means a lot. I’d definitely recommend leasing to anyone looking for a place that’s well-managed, responsive, and great for families.

Received a letter for an eligibility appointment coming up soon and wanted to check out the property. The staff is rude, very unhelpful, and the girl with the glasses at the first desk on the right when you walk in should learn how to properly conduct herself as a leasing consultant, especially when prospective tenants come in. You greet them with a smile, not a bad attitude. Management never stepped in when she was yelling questions from across the office or offered further help or guidance. Very sad place, extremely glad I won’t be living here. Property looks ghetto anyways, literally all of the balconies are full of junk and there’s no visitor parking because the staff take it all up instead of parking in their staff spots. Like get it together.

We have lived at Canterbury for a few months, and DO NOT regret moving here!! The office staff is always helpful, and professional at EVERY level!! We originally toured with Angelica, then went through the leasing process with Ashley, and they both went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this complex if you’re looking for a new home!!

I came to Abilene for a briefing with the housing authority on the 19th and was highly impressed I would not potentially be placed at an old, outdated housing authority that reminds you of a jail. This meeting was ran by Jessica and Angelica in which one works for each program, while they did explain there was a lot of work to do with paperwork they were very helpful. I left the briefing and drove to the location and was impressed this is a community that takes the voucher. Angelica was very kind and honest about her expectations and how she enjoys making the community safe, happy and enjoyable for everyone. While unfortunately I found out I do not qualify for this program, I’m glad I tried and there is others who benefit for this. I read through some of these reviews and wanted to see for
