Canterbury Apartments

Been living here for two years, moving out in 2 months. There's an alarm going off in the hallway that's been going off for the last 3 days, talked to neighbors about it and learned that we've all reported it but since it's not an "emergency" they're not doing anything about it. I had my car keyed one night, called the office to see if they had cameras but they don't in the back lot. The model they show for the tour isn't really the same as what you get, the place is kind of run down. Also, our bath tub is mint green for some reason lol and the water doesn't shut all the way off there's always a dripping even though we've had it "fixed" multiple times. Canterbury Apartments failed to return my security deposit and is now attempting to charge me an additional $2,100 for an extra month of rent. They rely heavily on a 60-day notice policy, which is not clearly communicated, and use it to impose unexpected charges on residents at move-out. Throughout my tenancy, the management team was consistently unprofessional, uncooperative, and difficult to work with. Maintenance issues were handled poorly: my dishwasher was never repaired despite submitting a service request, and when the air conditioning stopped working at the beginning of spring, it took over three weeks—and multiple follow-ups—before anyone addressed the issue. Been here for about three months did have my car flooded in the main parking lot the 2nd month, which caused it to be totaled. The neighbors are great everybody in my building is fantastic and so nice. The office people have always been fantastic and very kind.

I would not live here again. I was unhappy with the overall experience and was happy to move out. The office staff was also very rude. The new place I’m at is much cheaper and better living. I would give a 0 star if possible.

We've been here about a year and a half and have been very impressed with this apartment complex! Landscaping and maintenance are always on top of everything and the office is very informative!
