They can raise their rent prices to keep up with inflation, but they can not update their appliances to keep up with the standard of living. This place was built in 2004 and they haven’t remodeled or updated anything since. They advertise a laundry room… been here almost a year and one out of two washers has been filled with water the entire time, completely unusable. Additionally, the dryers are older than my grandma, and therefore do not dry your clothes. Also… the light in the laundry room is out? Has been for a while… Extremely aggravating that we live somewhere that cost $1,400 a month and it’s like living in 2004 (if we are going to stop time with appliances and maintenance, can we also stop time with rent gouging?) -an extremely irritated tenet who can barely afford to live here
