Cactus Oaks Apartments

Moved in in april 2011 and love my apartment. Never had no problems till a new manager came in 2017. He slacked on inspections, in and out and new tenants were not aware of the inspection guidelines. Manager targets people and finds way to give violations, so he can evict or scare people to leave. At the same time manager watches people and when they are home and not and says he knows cops well and thinks he can walk over people and evade their home where home should be where you are most comfortable, not scared. Others have caught him coming out of their apartment when they were arriving home, another was in her shower. One tenant moved in last year and had no clue about inspection guidelines and posted it on her door a day before inspection.... Emotionally stressed from a 2 yr old and a

My daughter currently resides here. Young single mother. She is harassed by the manager every other day. She was notified yesterday that he inspected her appt while she was at work. No notice. And today she came home from work and was threatened with election if her appliances in kitchen weren't pulled out and baseboards cleaned. Even the owner will not respond to this man's behaviour..

My brother has lived here for two years and the management does a nice job with the apartments. They’re peaceful, quiet, and pretty well maintained. This is one of the very few (reasonably priced) rental options in La Grange and there is always a waitlist to live here.

First let's start off with how poor the management is and how he needs to be replaced he comes in the apartment without even giving a 24-hour notice something that you supposed to do by law before entering attendance apartment and on top of that the owner does not reply to no messages so now my next step is to take it to HUD since you guys don't want to do anything about your management situation you know it's a problem when everyone complains of the same person insane problem so with that being said maybe HUD can better assist me . And if it was up to me you guys were getting no star but in order to leave a comment you have to.🤬🤬🤬

My opinion is she's a very good worker she gets things done definitely when I've asked for things to be fixed it's gotten done and she takes time to listen when I'm telling her stuff
