La Grange Springs

Had a walkthrough of apartments at 9 am today (2/5/26). Kind of had a feeling I'd been to this place before and didn't qualify, so I tried to call. Phone was disconnected. Searched for other numbers. Found one- also disconnected. Showed up 12 minutes early to the meeting and parked outside the office, with a closed sign indicating they were open til 9. Okay. I wait outside until 9:10 and leave. Nobody ever showed up, even to unlock the door, much less acknowledge that I was supposed to have a walk-through. Absolutely abysmal management, if that's how you treat people you want to give you money. Wouldn't recommend wasting time even looking here.

The new management is really sketchy. I went to talk to them about my rent. Because there was an issue with the online payment system. It told me I had paid but I had gotten a refund for some odd reason. So I went to go talk to the new “management” they told me I was good and that I had paid. But I am now just receiving a letter after they were closed that I didn’t pay my rent and now getting charged a late fee. I went to talk to the new management in person. I just want to know why I was lied to instead of the new management looking into the issue I had told them about initially instead of saying I was good. Please be transparent with your tenants and don’t lie to them. And please don’t wait until you’re closed and it’s the weekend to send notices out like this. What is wrong with you.

Managers are a revolving door. Playground turns into a swimming pool when it rains. When move out came around, verbal confirmation was given that I would have a full deposit refunded with prorated dates in mind. After constant attempts to get into contact with the apartment complex, it took 4 months to get the deposit check. That being said, after I scrubbed that unit clean with little to no cosmetic damages and had even replaced all the window blinds, they were able to give me a whopping $150 dollars back and refrain from returning any of my calls to make it right. No one should have to go through that.

Bright changes are happening. Great manager. She has answers all my questions.

The apartments are very nice and clean and quiet place to live in the country but close to the hospital and doctor office and the new manager is very nice her name is Sarah Mitchell and she's in the office every day but the weekend and she's easy to talk to and I hope we have her for a long time oh and we have new owners and new workers and boy they really work there tail ends off and they get the job done
