Cacapon South

I'm staying here with a friend. The development is beautiful. Clearly the HOA rules work, and I'm saying that as a guy who is opposed to HOA's. Without them it could turn into garbage in the yards that I see in too many communities in the area. The neighbors in the area are friendly and respectful of the community.

Beautiful state park. Restaurant is fairly good. Wait staff fantastic. Limited plain easy menu. Worth a second trip sometime. If I didn't live so close and in the same Appalachian environment I would certainly stay in the hotel or one of the cabins for a get away. The only thing missing in this park is a massively clear Appalachian mountain lake of a few thousand acres.

The views are stunning. Always seeing wildlife on my weekly trips. The homes in the development are immaculate & well-manicured lawns. The roads are always well kept. The park across the road is beautiful with lots of hiking & beautiful scenery. Driving to the peak & looking over so many states is breathtaking. Read the informational signage & get a history lesson to boot!

Love the hiking trails and Creek.

At an investment standpoint I see it as a great area to buy a home,as berkley springs grows its bound to help this small down develope,that bein said...I don't know if there's a gas station in this small down...but what a beautiful place.maybe that secluded town can be a nice thing🤔
