Burlingame Towers

I lived here over the last year and would not recommend Burlingame Towers to anyone. Current and prospective tenants, be aware: The management company, which surely knows the law, attempted to violate the Tenant Protection Act by raising our rent above the legal limit when we transitioned from a 12-month least to month-to-month, claiming that the month-to-month option was "not a lease", per the building manager Lisa. We cited the law, and they intentionally and consistently deflected, asking instead if we were giving our 30-days notice to move out. They ultimately backed down after we cited our lawyer. Our rent increased the legal limit of 6.3% ($207), rather than the 11% ($385) increase included in their "renewal offer". The biggest quality of life issue here is the heating and insulati

Had an amazing move in experience in Burlingame towers. Lisa (the manager) is the most helpful and kind person, she replied timely to my emails and fulfilled requests even before we moved in. After moving in, we made some work orders which were taken care of immediately.

The appliances are good, the location is good, those are my 2 positive notes. However, the insulation is terrible. It is absolutely atrocious. The heaters are constantly on, and I'm paying an extra 300 a month (at LEAST), and even WITH the heaters constantly on, I'm still freezing. All the time, I am freezing in this apartment unlike anything I have ever experienced. Unrelated, but I am paying some $700 more a month than I should be paying. I got my lease a month or two before covid and lockdown. Would've been nice to hear from them, maybe an offer to cut down rent just by a little would've been great. So yeah that's the cherry on top.

I lived there for a year. They don’t care about what happen with you. They just want they money, they do not help anyone. If you need anything living here, good luck cuz you gonna needed. Noisy, old, anything works good and everything aways a headache. nice view, but you can get something better around here.

Price is right but there is nobody here to assist tenants with issues. Managment is pretty poor.
