0 Stars (if I could give less, I would) I had an extremely disappointing experience with this appraisal company. After receiving the report, I asked for clarification on the comparables used, but instead of a respectful explanation, I was met with aggression and blatant disrespect. I was constantly overtalked and not even allowed to finish my sentences. To make matters worse, I later received an extremely disrespectful and insulting text message from the appraiser. This behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I regret involving this company in my client’s process and would strongly advise others to stay far away. There was absolutely no professionalism, courtesy, or willingness to communicate constructively. Horrible experience—do not use this company.

Giving one star because google would not allow zero. This guy is a joke. He came out to "appraise" our new custom build and valued it $400,000 below market value, just because he claimed it "wasn't finished." The only thing missing was two countertops. He then suggested we could get a "reappraisal" (for a fee, of course) once the house was complete. He ignored comps in our neighborhood and pulled ones from 25 minutes away to "justify" his absurd appraisal. When he came back out, since we were stuck using him, he appraised the finished home at the exact same value using the same comps. Don't bother with him—find someone else and save yourself the headache.

Mr. Virgil Brown was a professional man who evaluated our home in Lewes. He was prompt, thorough, & did an excellent job. He was hired by the bank for the the buyer but as the seller, I am very happy. He knows this area well.
