Brookview Apartments

A sign is needed saying Dog Park for Residents Only. Rules. No littering. No digging. Pet owners failing to pick up their pet's waste will result in loss of privileges. The people in these houses bring their dogs to Brookview and leave their dog's waste behind for residents to step in. 320 and 319 Richlands Avenue. The resident in building 327-5 lets her dog do the digging. I do not recommend moving here if you have a pet.

The apartments are older and so ac units are older and use way too much electricity to be worth the slightly lower rent. The location is good, though. Dog owners are the issue for me. They allow pet waste to cover the grounds. Weekly lawn care is done and it looks really great, but in under an hour they're out there letting their dogs leave their waste everywhere. Maybe if you own a dog you can no longer smell it, but I smell it all the time. People who live in the blue house definitely bring their dogs over to the apartments several times each day, but so does this dude who stands there and watches his dog do it while he sees me sitting outside watching him. There are some great pros that include professional property management and maintenance who are consistently responsive and courteous. The location is close to places I like to go yet away from the heavy traffic. Weekly professional lawn care makes the grounds look nice. Monthly rent price is good with more square footage comparable to other properties. A 2-story apartment with no neighbors above or below you, W/D connections, pet-friendly, good parking and quiet area at night. In my opinion, the cons include no dishwasher, high electric bills due to structural issues, and the AC vents in the upstairs bedrooms have very low air flow. But I like my apartment. Maintenance and management are great and always looking to help resolve any issue if necessary. I will definitely be recommending these apartments. I have leased a few different apartments in my lifetime and this one is by far the best. The community manager is so helpful and maintenance is also great! For the very very few issues I’ve had between moving in and now they are always fast to respond, fast to fix any maintenance things, and just generally good people!
