Brookstone at Brookhaven

Whoever acquired this property has dropped the ball significantly and clearly does not understand a consumer led and centered market. Not really understanding why these apartments are so expensive. I understand that they recently “remodeled” them but I watched as they “remodeled”. Their version of remodeling is the equivalence of slapping a full face of make up on a pig, and making renters pay out of the nose for it. These apartments are $2000+ with not even trash included in that fee. Why should anyone pay that much when you can just go across or down the street to the hundreds of other apartments surrounding the area and get bigger apartments, with amenities such as washer and dryer included, pools, gyms, etc and water, sewer, gas and trash included as part of your rent at hundreds of do

The management was terrible and one summer the pool didn't even open at all. It was fun to play outside and the environment was nice. The inside is a different story. Cockroaches roamed the whole interior of the apartment. They're are also many rats. By the time I moved away from there, there were so many people in the apartment that made it terrible. The managers now are horrendous. There are so many drug dealers there and more people in an apartment than there should be. The community there has turned so bad. Overall it was terrible inside and apartment wise, but I liked the community back then. Today, I would not recommend you move to this apartment.

If you plan on moving here don't. They don't fix anything. My family and were without AC for 2 years. Management didn't do anything even after we went to tell them 3 times. And when they did go and "fix" it they would say just wait a few hours the AC will kick in. Nothing. The temperature reached to 86°F inside. I have little kids. It was cooler outside than inside..and outside is like 80°F. Also its been more than a month and the AC isnt fixed yet. Another problem is that my bathroom is leaking from the ceiling. It looks like its going to fall any minute now. I have to clean almost everyday because of the leaking if i dont catch it on time to put buckets. And yes we went to the manager more than once and still haven't been fix.

Do not come to rent apartments it’s the worst place to live , is very expensive and management don’t know what they doing they will charge you for rent and separately for sewer , water , trash , cleaning electricity and they don’t tell you after you sign contract!!! Ridiculous prices on rent 1895-to - 2500 - 3000 plus the extras Look somewhere else you won’t be happy here !!!!

we were touring an apartment and the leasing lady was very very sweet.. the apartment we toured was a two bedroom the previous tenants had turned into a 3 bedroom with adding walls. the room smelled of pure ammonia and the carpets were trampled flat. the sweet leasing lady told me they lived there for three months. she said they were going to gut the entire thing and replace everything in it.... but the walls smell of mold. there was no way that would have been finished and ready within the week.. i’ve seen meth houses and i’ve been in meth rooms and that showed every single sign that meth had clearly been made in that apartment.. all in all i am definitely not moving in here.
