Broadway Apartments

For two months I went without heat. It’s also rained in my apartment “4 times” due to building malfunctions damaging my property. Also The ceiling collapsed in my laundry room. My insurance company said broadstreet apt was at fault however the company does not care about it’s residents.

Only leaving 2 stars because the maintenance and office staff were nice people. Lived there for a little over a year and moved buildings. In building A with 2 bedrooms, there were so many roaches. I cleaned and sprayed stuff, and there were always more. And there were a lot of baby ones, so it was likely an infestation. Moved into building C in a 1 bedroom, and it had fewer bugs but still some. Then, once summer hit, ants and lizards would come in. The AC unit does not work well at all. Our ceiling leaked one night because the AC unit above us was leaking. During a big storm, our bathroom window let a bunch of water in through the top. The surrounding area did not feel safe. This apartment management team is genuinely the best team I’ve ever had. I’ve lived in multiple different properties they oversee and they seriously will work with you and help you out if they can. Every time I go into the office, I end up sitting with them for a bit and joking with them. They are amazing people! These apartments are beautiful. They just updated them a few years ago and I love the kitchens. How many apartments have combination ovens??

This place is good to live. Calm and clean but it got no Washer, Dryer, or Microwave. The admin did not even showed me the apartment before I paid the lease.

I was so excited to move. Then on move in day I wish I hadn’t signed the lease. There were stains of paint on my floor, the second bedroom door still isn’t fixed as it closes on its own. The hallway leading to the apartments smells bad and needs new paint. My first month living here the water only stayed hot for two minutes. I went to the leasing office at least once a week until the water heater was replaced. Still, the hot water doesn’t stay hot. And today the water is off from 9-430 which is super inconvenient but hey whatever i guess. There is no pool, no playground, no handicap parking, no microwave included, washer/dryer is extra $50/month, water is based on usage and in my 2x2 there is not a lot of cabinet space.
