Brightwood Forest Apartments

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Reported that water was leaking from the ceiling and they came by to look at it (that was 6months ago) still not fixed. Apartments reek. They currently have no mailboxes and want us to go get our own mail from the post office (been like this for months now) even though they already had new mail boxes installed. If you love bugs/snakes these are the perfect apartments for you. Had to call the police before due to a man that was high on something looking through windows of the apartment buildings.

I moved in Aug 2025 first month was ok some spiders. After that everything went down hill from not having any access to your mail (pick up at post office) the office has zero answers and don’t really know anything smh. Had water damage from unit above they sent the handyman to address the damages and he did know what to do. I’m waiting on first sign of MOLD so I can sue and make them change name and management. Horrible place cause the ppl don’t care!

New owners in the last few years and they’re awful. Charge for everything but don’t want to fix or help you with anything. They charge for trash which they did not use to do and the public uses our dumpsters constantly. Ridiculous the things we are charged for. This is no reflection on the maintenance team. They do what they can and Victor is quick to assist.

Brightwood Forest is a pretty good apartment complex. They have a VERY responsive Maintenace team, a very clean and quiet complex (aside from being off the main road). The apartment renovations are okay they could be slightly better, just a little more attention to detail would make it perfect. Free parking is a plus here at the complex because a lot of other places charge insane prices. Sadly, the bugs do get very bad during the summer so that is one little concern. Office staff would be rated 50/50 it depends on who you talk to and what the situation is. I will say you do have to just have clear communication with the office to get the best of what you need from them. But overall, the experience hasn't been too bad, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. This is my first year living here

Maintenance repairman did a great job. Submitted my request this morning and got the service in a few hours. Quick turnaround and overall work is great!
