Brighton Place

I lived here for 15 months and overall it was an okay experience. They advertise the apartments as being “spacious” but they are very much not spacious at all. We also got the “landlord special” when we moved in: dust and hair was painted over, the finish on the bathtub was messed up and molding, etc. The office was generally good to work with; we had an issue with our upstairs neighbors hosting parties and I do believe the office did all they could to get them to stop. Sometimes they were a bit strict about things, like once I left a trash bag in front of my door for <30 minutes and they gave us a lease violation, but our neighbors had a trash bag on their balcony for MONTHS and it was never moved. Maintenance was generally okay as well, the regular maintenance guys were great. However,

The leasing office people don’t really know what they’re doing. The whole move out process was a nightmare due to the office people not being able to find my roommates paperwork. The apartments when we first got there had the “move-in special” or to put it bluntly white paint painted over hair, bugs, and lint. That was fine and all due to how cheap the prices are, but it’s the office charging random fees with move-out not being able to back up what they claim besides the drip-pans charging $55 which the ones they use are less than $20… so unless they are charging an additional $25 for the “manual labor” it takes to just take out drip pans and put new ones in then okay? But to charge an additional trash fee when that was charged in the beginning of the month with rent is so scummy. It’s not

I absolutely love this area apartment complex. It’s so quiet. I tell everyone about my apartment complex complex.

Cozy but upgrades are needed just to bring up to speed. Management is lax with keeping the grass and grounds pristine. Simple things like the bathroom and kitchen faucets need to be upgraded. Parking designation needs to be more defined and flooding happens due to poor drainage but overall still a great place to live.

This was my first apartment in the State of Texas. My experience here was a great experience because of the staff. They answered my questions and came we great solutions. The pool is very nice and the place is very green. However, my apartment had many roaches and despite having pest control come out. This place need to be fumigated. They said I had to pay extra to get rid of the roaches. Which I get however if have people who suppose to spray every Tuesday for the bugs there might be a bug problem that a tenant should not have to pay. Overall it was a great space and price for a one bedroom.
