Breakwater Apartments

i just wanted to share my experience with this apartment complex because i feel others should be aware before renting here. When applying for a 2X2 upstairs apartment, i was not allowed to view the apartment before applying because it was supposedly being cleaned. The leasing manager, Arturo, was saying the units go fast and to go ahead and apply. I was hesitant but went ahead and applied for it and got approved. A couple days later i noticed a 2X2 downstairs unit became available and a downstairs unit was originally what i wanted. At this point i had not given Arturo a deposit nor signed any documents for the upstairs unit, so i contacted him and asked for the downstairs unit, to which he replied “sorry i can’t switch you because i already put together the documents for the upstairs u

The area is great and safe, close to stores and restaurants. The maintenance staff is fast when requests are submitted.The only bad side of this place is no matter how clean you leave the apartment when you move out they will still keep 98% of your deposit.

Living in Breakwater was such a pleasant experience. After selling my home, I was a bit apprehensive on how I would adapt to apartment living, but Breakwater was so delightful. I rented a 2bd, 2 bath apartment for my son and I due to its location to Centennial High School. The location was perfect. The apartment was clean, I loved they do two toned paint, with my décor the apartment was very cute and cozy. But what I really apricated was the response and kindness I experienced with the management and maintenance team. I noticed my fridge went out one evening at about 9pm. They didn't wait, they were at the apartment right away, swapped out my fridge, no down time. The management of this apartment complex displayed a concerning lack of professionalism before we even move in this place. Our vehicle was broken into while parked on the premises, on our first month, (being a luxury apartment) raising serious security concerns about the property, especially some homeless people coming by and digging on our trash daily to collect some cans and any leftover food. But what’s the worst part is moving out into this apartment don’t expect to get your full deposit back. Despite leaving the apartment in pristine condition, our deposit was unjustly withheld, adding to our dissatisfaction with the overall experience.

Wow is all I can say! First off, the area is phenomenal. Around all the restaurants and stores, shopping center is amazing. The facility is very clean & top notch. Grass was cut & green, pool was clean & the complex looked amazing. Ashley, the manager, was so so nice. We were coming in from out of state & young, she helped us out without even giving us any trouble . We visited many apartments before and many frowned upon our age. Ashley actually took the time to show us around & took us seriously unlike many other apartments. She’s very responsive on emails and phone calls. She’s also willing to go the extra mile for her new renters! If you’re looking for a place to rent with good management, come check this place out!
