All you need to do is compare their 3.9/4.0 Google rating to other buildings along Uptown/Lyn-Lake — they’re rated well below the competition. I lived here for 9 years, and it has declined so much from its former glory that I finally had to leave. My air conditioning was never fixed and is extremely loud like another tenant complained here. Even during a warm winter day it only cools to 66°, so I have no hope it will work in summer for a second year in a row. After spending half the summer and all fall using a portable unit, I give up. One treadmill has been broken for TWO years, and the sauna works sporadically. On a tour, ask to test the 4th treadmill. They now have a “resident specialist” to explain "move-out charges and refurbishment costs", can't wait for that...and rumors say no one
I live in the Lime apartments and over all had a great experience with the management here. I was moving across country and was dealing with complications on my move but Tegan and Amanda were super accommodating and helpful. When anything breaks the mx team are fast to come and help. There was a miscommunication once with a fridge that led to a some groceries being lost but once they found out Ryan (Service Head) came out personally and replaced the unit and Jennifer (community director) helped make everything right. The location itself is great and the unit is beautiful. The residents are friendly and the security here is a constant presence making sure things are safe. I will be renewing my lease and would recommend anyone else checking it out!
Tegan was SUPER helpful with the moving process. We moved from out of state and Tegan answered every question I had, from safety in the area, to even random off the wall questions that I had. The ONLY thing I wish I would’ve known was that there are two separate gyms, and you only have access to the amenities in the building you are located in. But that’s on me for assuming. The amenities in both buildings are great, just a smaller gym in the Lime building. Regardless, wonderful decision we made choosing the apartments. The community is very inclusive and puts on events for the entire community, there’s a restaurant downstairs in the Lime building, and the entire Weidner staff for this location is very responsive and helpful. Thank you!
We lived here for 2 years, and similar to other reviews, we saw a decline in quality after the management switch. Throughout our residency, we appreciated Angie's effectiveness with our questions. The apartment itself was nice. We got a lot of natural sunlight because it was a corner unit. There was poor insulation, which caused mold to build up often. I did like how quiet it was. I couldn't hear my neighbors, or people below us. The dog park was nice, although the dog washing station was in an inconvenient location. The room had poor ventilation, and it would get really warm and gross smelling after washes. Maintenance was ok. We really liked being helped by Eric, because he was the most helpful. Our AC broke for three weeks in the summer. There were 3 people who looked at it before E
WORST APARTMENT I EVER LIVED IN I lived in Lime for 2 years and while it was under Saturday properties the maintenance issues were resolved quickly and the staff was very accommodating. After changing to Weidner the facilities/amenities started to decline. My biggest issue was the air conditioning. I started having issues in the spring and it was the same temporary fix where they would have me turn off the AC so it could defrost then they would come vacuum out the condensation buildup in the tray at the bottom. This would work for a few days then the issue came back. It wasn't until my last week living there that they brought in a portable AC unit and it helped but not much. When asking for a resolution to this issue I was offered a $30 and a 20% discount off my move out fees. Absolute sl
