I used Blount Title for the purchase of a property once, but will never do business with them again. There was a severe lack of communication and attention to details by them. I was purchasing a property with cash, no realtor and was in direct contact with the seller. After numerous attempts to find out why it was taking so long to transact the deal, the seller and I were talking and neither of us had been getting responses from the title company. The title company had found an issue with a bill that needed to be paid by the seller's estate, but had not communicated any of this to us. After over a month we finally push enough to get it resolved. They then tell us we'll have to wait another two weeks to do the closing because it was the near the end of the month and they were too busy

They treated us greatly. Our representative even got onto the other party about making sure filing is done properly on what is their responsibility. Apparently the other party has had some issues before.

Being from out of town to close on a property deal with not the correct documents- equals disaster!! Blount Title seemingly dropped what they were doing to help me out of the jam that I created!! This is a great business- they most certainly care about customer needs!! Thank you Blount Title!
