Blanton Commons Apartments

I have really enjoyed my time here at Blanton Commons. Firstly, the staff are some of the kindest humans. The women in the front office have always been friendly and professional. There have been times where we can laugh and enjoy each other’s company, yet even still any of the things I have needed have been taken care of. Furthermore, the maintenance team is wonderful. They are always prompt and have taken care of my apartment and the area. Secondly, the apartments themselves are affordable and nice. I have seen the many comments about cleanliness and have to disagree. Yes, the occasional cockroach appears, but then again they are bugs and sometimes animals get in. I had better expectations of these apartments before we moved in to them. Initially we were shown their showcase apartment which looked nice and clean. After we were given the keys to our assigned unit it looked really different compared to the one we were shown and it was misleading to not see the one we would actually be living in. Our whole time staying here we had mold issues that was growing behind our shower wall and always on all of the windows. I want to warn those with babies and young children to not stay here. The people they allow to rent these apartments have a serious drug problem and the weed smoke would fill our apartment. You can smell the weed all throughout the complex. I've been residing at APT101 for almost 18 months. A new management FPI began a two months ago. They increased our utility bill from about $100 to $180. I have been spending no more than $100 for my utilities. I do not understand why they increased it by around 80%. Their service comes in second. The quality of the service is really poor. For the past two months, I've requested to have my washing machine fixed twice, but I never heard back. I discovered that the services were issued as fixed today in their LOFT living app but they never come to my apt to fix it. I do know how did they report that. In comparison to the previous management (TMG), this one is far worse. Elevvator is not working. Main door lock is not working. Hard time to reserve a spot for your car. Hopefully the

I can’t speak for other’s experience living here but I have been here for a little over two years and LOVE IT. Any maintenance issues I’ve ever had were always fixed within a couple of days, which makes me know you people are not reporting when you have issues. I’ve seen comments about the office staff, which I don’t get…… they have always been so nice to me and always say hi even when I’m just getting a package and leaving. I did have a few minor things when I moved in but when I called to tell them they got it all taken care of. Do not waste your time, energy or money in this nasty apartment. Do not be fooled by the model apartment that they show you when you come by to view, the actual apartments are absolutely dirty and disgusting. Management is beyond cheap when it comes to replacing damaged or broken parts. The maintenance team a waste of time not to mentionshort handed. It's clear they weren't maintaining any part of it. The apartments appear clean but they just had painter spray paint everywhere including the bath tubs (prepare for the paint to peel). The only 2 good staff they had left months ago.
