Biltmore

Have lived here for a little over 6 months and have had constant issues. Management is non responsive, so much damaged and defective items in the building, always dirty, rats everywhere outside, etc. can’t wait to leave! We have had mold in our apartment for months that they haven't addressed. We went over a month without a washer and dryer. We have been experiencing a leaking AC unit for 2 months. We have been 1.5 months without a microwave. Every week there is new employees because the owners do such a poor job supporting their employees.

3/27/24 EDIT: Rats in the lobby!! See photo below This building is beautiful, but UIP is an absolutely horrible management company to work with. We have had multiple issues with multiple different appliances, but nothing actually ever gets fixed because they just move appliances in from different, vacant apartments. Maintenance can take forever to solve an issue. People will come by and "look" at the issue, say they need to order a part, then will just completely abandon the issue. The ratio of the amount we pay in rent and the service we get from UIP is absurd. Editing this post as of 2/5/24. The washing machine in our apartment has been broken for as long as I remember. Again, we have had several people come and look but have had no updates on getting it fixed or getting a new machine.

18 months ago, we moved into the Biltmore and selected UIP as the management company we wanted to rent our apartment with. After a transatlantic relocation from Germany, UIP met us with a wonderful apartment, in a truly fantastic and historical building in the heart of Adams Morgan in DC! The apartment was immaculate, the staff and UIP team, helpful, diligent and responsive to all requirements. Now, after 18 months our time in Washington DC is up! We will miss the great residents and building. Thanks UIP, I cannot recommend both the building, and company enough! Best, Rob, Sarah and Nikolaj.

This place is extremely poorly run, leasing office and property management are disorganized, extremely slow to respond, and unprofessional. There are a multitude of better buildings to live in in DC.

Pleasant move in experience with a lot of help from Javonni Brustow. Love my unit!
