I lived here for 5 years. For most of that time, it was a great place — clean, well-managed, and stable. But when the new owners took over, everything changed. The last 6 months were full of problems: Rent payments disappearing from the online portal, even when paid on time. Water bills suddenly doubling without explanation. Eviction attempts filed against tenants who were fully current. Nearly all of the long-term residents I knew left soon after the new management arrived — and I’ve now moved out as well. It became clear that long-term tenants were not valued anymore. If you are considering moving here, I would strongly advise against it. What used to be a 5-star community has been turned into a place where tenants constantly have to fight just to be treated fairly.

Hello, my name is David, knowing I didn't get the Apt. I just want to state the property manager Skylar. She was very professional, always smiling and helpful in trying to see what she could do for me to get in to your lovely apt. She told me what ya have plans for these apartments. I told her remember when my mom lived here not much got done as far as maintenance and awful management. But I see ya picked the right one for the job. Then Skylar walked me to see some of those beautiful units that ya have remodeled. Well I'm amazed what ya have done I'm very impressed. Well one day I will get in, but till then Big Spring Village, one other thing I'm so glad ya changed the name I love that.Thank you Skylar for your hospitality.

Rant - Big Spring Village (aka Bent Tree Apartments) Posted on Rants and Raves TLDR - Don’t get an apartment here. I usually like to rave not rant - I try to believe the best in businesses. But I’ve had a truly frustrating year with this apartment complex… and at this point I feel like sharing my experience might save someone else from the same headaches and tear filled breakdowns. Back in October 2024 - I signed the lease for my very first apartment on my own. At the time I was told by the property manager (the first of four I have dealt with since then) that the complex had just been purchased and a ton of updates were coming. I was promised upgrades to my unit - wood floors instead of carpet - new appliances - fixes to long-standing issues. A few things did happen at first: new toile

Applied for an apartment that said it was newly constructed and the monthly rent was $999. But once I completed the application and payed $65 I was told that the price was $1199 and the apartment was not new or even remodeled. Once this happened they immediately changed everything on their website and don’t even want to refund my $65 for false advertisement.

I haven’t even moved into this property yet and already love it and ready to call it home. Management (Eva) is extremely friendly and wasted no time getting me approved. Showed me the apartment and it looked absolutely amazing. The whole vibe of this place looks and feels amazing. A massive step up from the hell hole Im currently living in. Cannot wait to move in here!
