Lennar builds homes for a single person in mind. So, the Facebook slogan of "we build homes with YOU in mind" is very accurate. Just you, not your family. According to the Tampa Service Manager, if you have hot water in one shower for at least 15 minutes, then they are successful. They've met expectations. Don't worry about the other showers, sinks, dishwashers, and laundry. Built to the bulk price quality. So go ahead and negotiate at least another 15-20K off of the house. You'll need it to replace the appliances to size them correctly.

New development of new homes in very southern Hillsborough cty, near manatee line. Still in beginning phases, home i was in was 4 bedroom ,2 bath, 2 garage. 6 to 8 miles to get to I 75. Still alot of farm land, but MANY new home projects going up. Will be built out in 5 to 10 years.

The builder takes shortcuts, and cheaper material for his houses. You can't change any colors, flooring because they buy in bulk.

I build so I see more than just the "finished product".
