Bell Park Manor Terrace Housing

Resident since 2014. The grounds landscaping is attractive and colorful, neat and tidy. The laundry rooms are clean, well lit and convenient. The machines are clean, efficient, effective and priced exactly right. The maintenance and management teams are friendly, patient, and informative. I recently had work done to modernize the bathroom and light work in other rooms. The inspections by the superintendent were professional and courteous. I'm pretty dang happy here!

I’ve lived in Bellpark Manor Terrace for 44 years. We moved here in 1981 when you had to be a veteran. It was a beautiful place to live in, it was safe and clean. In 1990 we voted and went private, then we had a say in decisions made by the board. Today we have no say in anything, there’s no transparency at all. Recently the board voted amongst themselves to install Charging Stations to accommodate other shareholders with electric cars. In doing so , my neighbors and I lost our backyard, where our kids played and we gather together with our family and friends. We also lost our clothes lines, residents still use. The management office encouraged us to plant gardens and my husband did. He worked hard under the blazing sun for hours in his free time for years. He also spent his own money. Jus

Been here 15 years. Great for the most part. Very few or no one lost power during Sandy. It’s a 20-minute drive to JFK under ideal conditions. About the same for LaGuardia.

very bad experience from management. The management tried to discriminate me by confiscating my parking space that I was paying for over 20 years - Illegal lock out. I made 5 appeals to the management staff to settle this peacefully, but they were so rude and unfair. I had to depend on tenant court to get back my space. I am very upset.

Great neighborhood. Great location. Public Transportation on the corner. Grew up near and still visiting. Many exterior improvements over the years.
