Bedford Park Apartments

READ BEFORE RENTING HERE ! I do not recommend living at Bedford Park Apartments. There is no in-unit washer and dryer, and the shared laundry facilities are consistently dirty and poorly maintained. That alone is frustrating, but it’s far from the biggest issue. EVERY summer for the past 5 YEARS, without fail, the air conditioning goes out. This has happened year after year. I have gone weeks without AC while management claimed they were “waiting on Freon” or “waiting on parts.” During this time, my apartment reached around 90°F in the middle of summer. Because the unit was unlivable, I installed a temporary window AC just to survive—and management fined me $150 for it, despite the fact that they had left me without AC for weeks. Since they changed management I don't want to continue my contract on next year. Not very happy for living here. By the way they painted the sign to black color it looks like a grave yard. Ps they always looked the laundry center. What about just close it forever if nobody wants maintain it!!

This place is amazing! Neighbors are friendly, and it's a neighborhood where everyone knows everybody! I've been living here for a long time but I don't want to leave its an amazing apartment! Their is a pool but it's usually closed, but other than that it's a really amazing experience, I'm giving it a 3 because of roaches

If I could give 0 stars I would I been living here since 2020 when I first move in my apartment was ROACH INFESTED when I complained to the leasing office they sent someone to spray but it didn’t work I had to get rid of them on my own buying products after that it was no more issues until they switched management I started receiving fines for crazy reasons such as a bike being left outside I had a single trash bag outside and receive a $300 fine for a couch that they “assume “ was mines with no proof that it was they charge ridiculous fees but these apartments are not updated my ac haven’t worked in over 4 months my apartment is full of mold I contacted the leasing office they sent maintenance to spray but the spray smells like they’re just using please which doesn’t work after they spr

I have had awful experiences with this complex since I moved it and it has been entirely too stressful -- part of the reason why I am not renewing my lease and moving out. When I moved in and signed my lease, I was told I would have a fully renovated apartment with a walk-in closet. I was never allowed to see the apartment before I moved in or signed my lease (my fault). Then when I moved in there was huge roach problem. They were everywhere!! I did not live in the apartment the first two weeks because the roaches were just too much. I asked for the holes in walls, in the closet, etc be closed up and my closets be updated/renovated. The holes where the roaches were entering were caulked as a solution, but every now and again there are still roaches seen in the apartment. In addition, th
