Beamon's Mill Townhomes

The townhouse was turn key. Very nice living space. Nice area but it didn't get two stars for that. Noah and it's parent company, Common, are IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with. In 5 weeks my wife and I have sent over a dozen emails, left at least 6 messages, and commented on every social media outlet they are on. In that time, we haven't heard one thing except Common/Noah opening their coin purse to collect our rent money. The laundry room door was broken when we moved in and remains that way. I submitted a maintenance request for that over a week ago and still haven't heard anything. We signed our lease in April and have yet to receive a copy so we can't get mail to our box. The answering service is always taking phone calls no matter if the office is open or not. Tldr; great living space

My wife and I have lived here for over 7yrs. Been thru 3 different owners. This place used to be nice and peaceful. Then this new company The Apartment Gallery bought it and it has gone so far down the drain. They do nothing as far as safety and keeping the noise out. People's cars have gotten broken into and stolen and they did absolutely nothing. There is never any parking because they dont enforce their 2 car per household rule. Got some places with like 10 people living in them. They make you sign a lease thats like 40 pages with all these rules but never enforce them.They don't care about the paying tenants, but if your on section 8 theyll bend over backwards for you. Literally turned this place into the projects. Suffolk prices with Portsmouth quality. This place is trash. DO NOT MOV

Horrible management. I have lived here for three years now and they have gone so downhill since changing to the Noah residence people. They never answer the phone or call back. They don't answer maintenance requests ever. They gave us less than one days notice to get our pets out of the house and remove everything from the cabinets and bathrooms so they can do pets control. Im a working parent i don't have time for all that after i get done work plus taking care of my two year old. Absolutely insensitive and selfish people. Do NOT rent from them.

The place is nice the bathrooms and kitchens are a little dated the counter tops and sinks all have a horrible topping overtop of the original ceramic or countertops and it's very ugly. Secondly the online service is horrible what's convenient about paying your rent online if the convenience fee is 54.54 the most that I have ever experienced with any other rental company is 9.99. so I guess going to Walmart to pay rent is more convenient.

So I'll give a pros and cons. Pros: 1. Neighborhood is full of wonderful neighbors all very welcoming and helpful people. 2. Neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful 3. While the units might be on the slightly pricer side, I feel it's a nice, clean two story townhome for essential two bedroom apartment downtown pricing. 4. When you manage to talk to a staff member through e-mail or on the phone they are extremely helpful and professional. Jolene Brown is who I have worked with and is easily the only reason I even went through with my application and helped with set up. The cons that prevented the 5 star: 1. Not sure if it's due to COVID-19, but literally you can never get a hold of maintenance. If I didn't have the e-mails of Jolene and the property manager I'd probably never get any
