TL;DR: Battaglia builds a nice-looking home, but their project management, communication, and follow-through are terrible. If you value timelines, transparency, or basic responsiveness, I would not recommend them. We have been in our new home for two months, and the past nine months have been the most stressful experience I’ve ever had — largely because of Battaglia’s inability to manage the construction process. Great Experience!!!! Battaglia homes has the best quality in Harford County. I interviewed several builders and no one was able to deliver the customization like Battaglia Homes was able to give my family. They drew my floor plan exactly how I wanted it to be and put my home into 3D so I could better visualize the finished product because Im not a visual person. There were times I felt overwhelmed but they were there to help solve any issues that arose. If you want a full custom home Battaglia Homes is the company no questions asked. We couldn't be happier with our Battaglia Home. The quality is superb. Any questions or concerns we had throughout the build process were addressed by Battaglia until we were satisfied. We found Battaglia when one of the larger "custom" builders in the area wasn't so custom after all and weren't willing to work with us on simple things like a front porch and a mud room. From the beginning, we could tell Battaglia was flexible, informative, and dedicated to a quality product. I recently signed a contract with Battaglia Homes and broke ground. After my original contract fell through with another builder I contacted Battaglia Homes and Chris Battaglia assisted me in working up a new contract at a better price and kept me on schedule with financing without missing a beat. So far this has been a flawless experience and I am looking forward to the end result. The entire Battaglia family has been accommodating and professional throughout the process.
