Barn Guru

Great initial start. Paid 50% up front , but he will not finish our project after numerous communications and months of trying to get him to finish. At this point, it appears he has no intention to finish our plans leaving us months delayed and frustrated. Totally unexpected considering our initial communication.

Okay, the beginning of my review could be a copy and past of Tiffany below. We had a nearly identical experience. You can read that, assume the same here and I will share a little more. To expand on what the reviewer who wrote the below experienced, my issues ran a little deeper. Had we simply been delayed in the construction, I would have given him 4 stars. Had it simply been a matter of not doing some of the detail work to a professional level, I would have given 4 stars. Where is truly comes apart for me is two issues. Safety and integrity. Conrad Arnold sent me a preliminary drawing of the barn style we liked and I returned it to him with a few changes we wanted. I followed up with a phone call and he said no problem he'd get right on it. After no reply in a week I called and he said he'd have something "tomorrow". Turns out I got that same "tomorrow" 3 more times over the next 2 months. I finally sent him an email and left him a voice mail on the same day asking if he was in or out of our project. He did not respond to either. We lost two months waiting on him. We're done. After reviewing Conrad's drawings with a local designer he pointed out the excessive costs in the building. Unusable space like attics, high vaulted ceilings and inaccessible floor space that adds cost per square foot. Also expensive materials and l

Very smart man, good with what he does. Problem is getting him do what he serves he offers is next to impossible. When I spoke with him, he knew what he was talking about. He helped me with getting basic plans for my barn design then I paid him to complete framing blueprints and material sheet and I've have never heard from him again. I've called several times. Left several messages, emails....nothing. don't waste your time in dealing with him. Hell just take your money and not do what you want him to do.

This was the absolute worse person to work with because he started out so great. He is sooooo professional and nice until he gets your initial deposit. Then he will tell you as many adjustments you need to make he is happy to do. Well, he sends you his boiler plate plans and then after that he will ghost you if you ask him for anything. He is a really good at the con in that, he is all about giving suggestions and so easy to work with until it comes to actual work. If the blue prints are outside of his stock blue print, forget it!
