Barclay Village Apartments

I’ve been a tenant here for years and have watched the quality of service steadily decline. Bug issues have become more frequent, and I’ve had to rely on my own traps (see photo) because management rarely follows through. There’s a serious lack of available maintenance workers — don’t expect timely help. If you’re thinking about moving in, ask detailed questions about pest control procedures and how long repairs really take. You’ll want to know what you’re signing up for.

This is a wonderful place to live. The office staff and maintenance personnel are fabulous. I enjoy living in a caring and supportive environment where you have a caring managerial staffing set-up from the office on up to the owner. My neighbors are very friendly and helpful. I must say they are are the best. The management does a great job in screening new tenants so you have a quiet and safe environment. I have never had a noise problem in 14 years that I’ve been here. The apartments have excellent amenities including central air, washer and dryer, carpeting, painting and carpet replacement, screened in porches, safety bars on the sliding doors and a aesthetically pleasing landscape for all apartments. If you’re blessed, you’ll move to Barclay Village!

Great apartments! I love having a washer/dryer in unit, central air and carpet. The maintenance staff is fast, friendly and awesome. The leasing office has an extremely friendly, professional staff who are very helpful and easy to deal with. The pool in the summer is also a nice bonus. One of the best apartment complexes in Hamilton!!

We have lived here for 2 years now and we love it. The apartments are clean and well-maintained. Whenever we need maintenance, the workers come quickly and do a great job fixing the problem. The whole complex looks great and is safe. Would highly recommend!

They don't like Muslims. Don't waist your time. The worst management I ever met. I waisted a whole month for rental application. (They told me no electronic forms. Everything electronically these days. My previous apartment I applied and signed the rental agreement electronically in couple of days. 🙄 Ok, I went their couple of times to take paper forms, then they said management took holiday off days, ok waited, then told me to fill out papers for co-signer. I said ok, but the signature cannot be electronic and has to be notarized 👀. I never heard such things for co-signer before, but ok. I did it. Then finally got the result when I had only 2 days before moving out from my current place "O we are sorry, the co-signer doesn't meet our criterias". He signed mortgage, he bought a car with hi
