Bangor House Apartments

My son has lived at the Bangor House Apartments for over 2 years. We were very happy when he finally reached the top of the wait list, and meeting the on-site manager and his assistant (back then) was a pleasure - we could tell it was well run and supportive of their tenants - which was extremely important to us. My son was very happy there until the management got replaced with staff who have unfortunately proven to be the opposite - unprofessional, seeminly unqualified for their positions, and lacking compassion for their tenants. He, as others, have learned to avoid the office as much as possible. Fortunately, the maintenance department is run by a person who has been there for years and takes good care of the tenants. They make the elderly tenants park in the parking spaces farthest from the building so the staff can park in the closer spots. That definitely seems a bit backwards to me. I'm also not a fan that it is a smoking facility, but that just is what it is.

I must say that the Maintenance guys do a super job. Jim has gone above & beyond to help my mother. Terrible parking for visitors, especially in the winter- but nothing they can do.
