My experience at Axis Midtown has been deeply disappointing, especially regarding resident safety, communication, and the behavior of the management team. These concerns are not isolated or rare — they are ongoing, documented, and largely disregarded by staff at both the onsite and corporate level. Security has been one of the most serious and persistent issues. Homeless individuals frequently shelter in the stairwells and roam the parking garage looking into vehicles. I have witnessed this personally and have even had to alert the extra security company Axis hired, only to find the guard sitting in his vehicle doing nothing. There is no reliable method of reaching onsite security, which makes residents feel unsafe. Despite reporting these issues multiple times, management has not impleme
As a long time resident of this building (7 years) most of my experience has been decent. The amenities are nice and the location is great. However, when Avenue5 residential took over management around Autumn of 2025, it has been nothing but problems. We’ve had: - homeless people living in the basements for months at a time -bikes being stolen from the dedicated bike room -cars being broken into and the broken glass left all over the parking lot for days - human feces and urine left in hallways for months at a time - booted cars taking up valuable parking spots left for over a year -the gate to the “secured” parking garage doesnt close half the time This management company has failed to keep us safe, and provide a clean livable complex. They claim they take these issues seriously, yet mo
A few weeks ago, my car was broken into and when multiple residents attempted to discuss it with the property manager, she dismissed the concern and acted too busy to engage. Today, I tried to contact her regarding the front gate being broken and left open around midday, but she was once again unavailable with no communication or follow-up. It is now 11pm and the gate remains wide open, meaning anyone can enter the property unchecked. This raises serious safety concerns for residents and their property. The ongoing lack of security measures combined with the absence of responsive management is a major liability and needs to be addressed immediately.
Short version: the amenities are gorgeous, Denise and Layla at the front office are incredible, there is a strong community, and the maintenance team is very effective. I have lived at this property twice now. It's a gorgeous property with an Alice in Wonderland aesthetic. The amenities have a certain charm to them, and look better in person than in the website. It's a very dog friendly complex, and all of the neighbors are very friendly (probably because there are so many dog people, but I'm a little biased). The community events are very popular with food and beverages typically provided, and you can even bring guests (the pool parties are my personal favorite). My only complaint the first time that I lived here was that management was very cold and unfriendly, and very unresponsive- t
I am a current resident of this community, and unfortunately my experience with management has become increasingly concerning. While certain maintenance issues, such as the gate, were eventually addressed, communication from the management team has been inconsistent and, at times, nonexistent. I had an important package delivered to the leasing office and was never notified, despite staff being aware of its arrival. When I visited the office during posted business hours, the office was unlocked and unattended. I only learned about my package because I happened to run into a staff member by chance. After raising these concerns, I noticed a shift in how my issues were handled. Rather than working toward resolution, I was informed that if I was unhappy, I could leave the community without p
