Avonlea Creekside

I had a great experience living at Avonlea Creekside for 1 year! The facilities and my apartment were very nice and well maintained. My move out process was smooth and I wasn’t charged for anything unfair from my security deposit. I would definitely recommend!

Lack of privacy. They let people have cameras on the front door, pointing directly to the front door neighbor. So your neighbor knows how many times you go in and out of you apt, knows your schedule, of you have visitors. Clearly knowing at what times the apartment is empty and for how long. On top of that is the question of where all of this is uploaded in what servers, who has access to this information, how long this is saved, if this is encrypted or just in their personal computers or cloud. It doesn’t make you feel safe.

One of my favorite properties I’ve toured in this area. The property is well maintained, and the staff is super friendly. The property manager Celina was approachable and a complete professional. Most property managers don’t bother leave from behind their desks. But she took the time and didn’t make me feel rushed. Very well managed property.

We resided at Avonlea Creekside for 18 months. Our apartment was really nice and maintenance request (only a few from us) were promptly handled. The checkout procedure was complicated a bit by corporate forms but proved to be quite reasonable in the end, which was a big plus for us. We are glad that this is the apartment complex that we chose.

Apartments were ruined on Christmas Day, when we we’re enjoying time with our families. Residents were rushing out with there kids gifts and what belonging they could grab. It started with water pouring down the side of the apartment building at 2:40, followed by the fire alarm and warning lights going off. Since the alarm does not call the fire department residents started to reach out, while other residents tried desperately hard to reach emergency maintenance personnel. Simply shutting off the main water line could have avoided apartments and belongings being ruined. The water was not shut off until after 5 PM, not by maintenance, but by the fire department returning for a second time.
