Avistar on the Blvd

I lived here for 13 months. It started off well, this was my first apartment ever. There were quite a few cosmetic issues, but for the price, I couldn't complain too much. The first few months were good, no issues, but towards the end of our lease we had water leakage (which was fixed in the kitchen, but not the bathroom, maintenance was quick to get on it, but the bathroom just never stopped leaking) and bugs, specifically cockroaches (the tiny ones). I had messaged about the roaches and was told they were looking for a new company. A month goes by, I had put in another request and stopped by the office. New management had finally been established and I had gone to the office again. Eventually a week before I moved out they sprayed for bugs and asked that I wait 14 days for the bugs to go

Couldn't be more disgusted & disappointed. Trash! They wouldn't give me a mailbox key until I turned in their move-in checklist. Once I turned it in. It took 2 weeks for them to 'create' a maintenance ticket to fix all the items, which was an extensive list of random repairs needed. One of my main concerns was no weather stripping all the way around to the front door which leaves a gap for air & dirt to blow in. I reported a skunk living under the porch. My maintenance ticket was 'completed ' & closed almost 2 months later with NONE of the items done! The first picture I posted is a view from my balcony this morning. A mattress thrown out on the sidewalk and clothes hanging all over the balcony across the way! Not to mention the unkempt property. I'm stuck here for another 10 months! Duri

Nice apartmentS. Area is great. Conveniently located down from the RIM and various other shopping centers. HEB right down the street and WALMART down the road!Also right down the street from MEDICAL CENTER. My unit is fairly new. Nicely renovated! The apartments are fairly good. quiet residents who keep to themselves. The pools are cool and a great spot for the family! Someone’s always throwing out almost new furniture so you really don’t know what you’ll find there! Great Plus! And Leasing Agent ZANNERY is very great at her job! She went above and beyond to help me get my apartment! I was in a pretty bad situation and she helped me through it! She really looks out for the Leasers! I’d recommend to speak with her if ur in a tight spot! Great deal compared to local prices!!!!

This community is quiet & affordable. Neighbors are all friendly and personable. Dog friendly! You’ll see everyone walking and working out…..with neighborhood children playing. The complex has a well equipped gym. The Avistar is centrally located close to I-10, loop 1604, and 410. Close to tons of shopping center’s & restaurants. Avistar On The Blvd is truly a hidden gem in the heart of San Antonio.

This place is only better than being homeless do not move here unless you have no other option, the management doesn’t do anything to solve your apartment problems, water shutoffs through the complex at least once a month sometimes more longest was almost 48 full hours of no running water due to their lack of up keep not to mention you will constantly deal with roaches no matter what you do to keep your apartment clean, only upside is the maintenance people if you can get ahold of them are usually really good at fixing stuff other than that this is a terrible complex and would not recommend it to anyone looking.
