Avery Apartments

08/16/2025 We moved in at 5pm on 08/15/2025. This review is written on our 2nd nights at this apartment. 1 star is for Kim and Louis. 0 star for Avery is a compliment considering the condition of a "newly cleaned" and "ready to move in" apartment. Our unit wasn't ready until 1pm on the move-in date due to cleaning schedule. Even after cleaning, there is a serious roach infestation, mold, and cosmic issues everywhere. Avery's ROACHES are super friendly. They come out to SAY HI in the kitchen, the cabinet, the living, the bathroom, the bedrooms, and the closet. I pretty sure some of them even shared the bed with us last night. The toilet's pipe broke and had a leak on our first night at 2:30am. We couldn't go to bed until 5am. Louis was extremely helpful. I was very excited to tour this place. I called ahead to ensure I wouldn’t wait time. I shared with her I was coming from work, and didn’t have a lot of time. I was coming in on my lunch break and only had 30 minutes. I showed up 5 minutes early. Kim was walking some other people to the golf cart to show them an apt. She comes back and sits down with them in her office. I just felt like that was very disrespectful of my time. I took the time slot she said was most convenient for her so I That plus all the bad reviews saying how she was not very helpful anyways. I personally feel like if you have an appointment and someone just walks in or even had an appointment and was just late, then they could wait. All around a waste of time. Extremely disappointed. I moved in about a month ago and I am glad I chose the Avery as my new home. I absolutely love living here! The staff is friendly and always willing to help, and maintenance is super fast whenever I need anything. The apartments are spacious, quiet, and well-kept. I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a comfortable new place to call home.

Terrible service and management of their apartments. They showed me a "similar" apartment to the one they could rent me, made me pay for two applications, one for my partner and one for myself, and then when we were approved they wanted us to immediately make the deposit, pay the administration commission and sign a twelve-month contract. I offered to pay the deposit and administrative fee, but we wouldn't sign a contract without first seeing the apartment they were renting, which would be vacated in two weeks. Ms. Kim replied that her manager would hardly authorize this, that I had to sign the contract, but that she would call me to let me know if it was possible. I tried to contact her multiple times and I was worried that if I was in the process of a new lease, they wouldn't answer me.

I waited a while before making a review. I love where I live. Maintenance is fast! The move in was smooth. The only complaint I have is that the ppl above me believe that 10 pm it an excellent time to drop weights on the floor but I chop that up to the downside of renting. Other than that, I love it!
