Avaz Pacific Beach

I am moving out only because I am starting my own business next year and need to make some sacrifices regarding living expenses. I will miss living here! Parking was a snap, but I am also home before 7 p.m. The complex is quiet, people are pretty cool and easy-going, it's pet-friendly, there are dog poop stations, and Bethany, the manager, and maintenance have ben very attentive to any issue I have had. Great shelving and closet space. Never saw any bugs etc in my apartment or elsewhere in the complex. All around a nice place to live.

I lived here for 4 years & we enjoyed every moment of it. It’s very safe with plenty of parking spaces front & back, never had problems or issues of break in’s of cars or the apartments. Bethany is the property manager and we will miss her so much … she is awesome, always working hard & making the residents feel safe and comfortable in all ways. My daughter attended High School @ Mission Bay so it was so easy for her to ride her bike 5 min to school and back. I definitely recommend the property, the part we liked a lot were the big closet’s in the bedroom with sufficient space for all your belongings and storage spaces on the top. We moved out of state otherwise I would still be living there.

I've been living at Bay Inn Apartments for almost three years now and how fortunate was I to have ended up here! The units are well built, the rent is cheap for Pacific Beach, and the location is unbeatable - easy access to the 5, located in a bubble that's very quiet, despite being surrounded by so much traffic, and plenty of places to park on-site and off-site. It really is a hidden gem in PB and the place to be if you want to get away from it all, but not be too far from anything. The complex has an on-site manager named Bethany who also lives on-site and it makes a world of difference. She's not only very responsive, but very dedicated to ensuring all matters are addressed immediately. She's in her second decade of managing the property, so she's seen and done it all. I spent 10 years in these apartments and could not have been happier. The manager, Bethany, makes sure any maintenance request is dealt with promptly. The grounds are very clean, the owners frequently do upgrades inside and out. The complex is very quiet, other than road noise on Grand. The apartments are small but I am not in need of a large amount of space. The views are great and it's a nice walk to the bay. I have recently purchased a condo or I would have likely spent the next 10 years at this complex. HIGHLY recommended if you enjoy a quiet, quaint place, HIGHLY recommended if you want an outstanding apartment manager.

Awful, only upside is that it’s a bit cheaper than most other housing in the area. Internet lines are old and decaying to the point my internet cuts out intermittently. The property manager Bethany is a stickler to the point that she invades your every day life. There is always loud traffic and construction going on perpetually. On top of all that, there is simply not enough parking in the area for everyone, so be ready to have to park several blocks away on random nights. My car has also been broken into several times from said parking lot as there is no security or cameras to speak of. 100% not worth the 100 dollars a month or so you might save.
