Avalon at the Pointe

let me start off saying I didn’t live here. This is about my tour/communication experience. I will say, the apartments were very nice when I toured. However, communication before the tour was difficult. I called twice (both went to voicemail with no return call), submitted an online info request, and sent two emails before getting a response. When I arrived for my scheduled tour, no one was in the leasing office. The agent was sitting in the clubhouse and did come to me within a couple minutes, but he seemed like he wasn’t expecting anyone. He never introduced himself, yet asked if I set it up with him. I love living at Avalon! There is such a community feel here. Leah has always been great and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Joe is phenomenal!! He has such a great ability for attention to detail that keeps the building looking clean and nice. He always takes the time to love on my dog and there isn’t one animal here that doesn’t absolutely love him! I’ve had 2 work orders in the almost 2 years I’ve been here and he took care of them within an hour. I feel lucky to be a part of the Avalon family. Thank you Leah and Joe for all you do!

Oh my gosh, I cannot say enough good things about Liz, Leah, and Joe. They are the nicest group of people and always make sure we're taken care of. The property stays well maintained, the common areas are always decorated so nicely (especially for the holidays) and it's just an all around fun and comfortable place to be. So many of my guests say the complex is like a hotel because it's so lavish. We are so, so happy here! Thanks for everything, guys!

I am not the kind of person to write a negative review. I have lived at Avalon 2x. Once in 2017-2019 which was an INCREDIBLE experience, and again in 2022-2025 which was not. I went through multiple managers often not even knowing who the manager was (not their fault). The maintenance was AMAZING (Joe, this is not about you, you are awesome). But throughout my stay things were broken beyond the control of maintenance. Elevators (and my ankle was broken), the hot tub didn't work for a year. I paid for amenities but also above and beyond because I chose to use the storage and the carports and yet I didn't have much communication at all. Then after being a loyal tenant, I move out and am charged 199.42 for carpet replacement (when I know for a fact that they replace carpet after you move out.

Update 3/7/26 I'm currently in the discovery phase with CMC. They provided false information to the BBB to get that complaint closed, so do not trust the rating. They deny trying to turn me over to collections for a debt I didn't owe (even though I have the call recorded). I'm uploading all the evidence of this but it looks like CMC is trying to get it taken down. I'm simply trying to warn potential customers to be careful and document everything, because if it turns into a lawsuit, their strategy is very dishonest and documentation will be your only hope. It has been approx. 1 yr since I moved out and I've had to take them to court to get my deposit back. The case should be resolved within the next 90 days and I'll replace this review with the entire story and outcome. Document everyth
