AVA Pacific Beach

I’ve been living here since August 2025 and truly love this community. The complex is beautiful, the amenities are fantastic, and the overall atmosphere here has been such a positive experience. I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Rhett, the Maintenance Technician. He is hands-down THE BEST Maintenance Technician I’ve ever encountered. He is incredibly punctual, reliable, and genuinely cares about the people who live here. Every time I see him around the community, he has such a positive attitude and it truly brightens my day! Not only is he excellent at what he does, he takes pride in his work and literally goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done right. Moving here has genuinely been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The community is lively in the best way — tons of energy, great people, and it’s helped my daily life level up a lot. The gym is also a huge plus; super convenient and honestly one of the reasons I’m so consistent with my routine now. I also want to shout out Cesar from maintenance. He came by today and was extremely helpful, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his work. He handled everything he could on the spot and set up next steps for the rest. You can tell he actually cares about residents and their experience here. Overall, this place has been amazing for me, and the team here makes it even better.

I’ve been at Ava 2 years, and I’m so sad I have to leave! First off, maintenance is amazing! My issues are usually resolved within an hour or same day. Two days max! All the staff, leasing and grounds people are amazing, super friendly and helpful. The gym is amazing. The Jacuzzi is very large the size of a small pool and salt water. I can never understand complexes that are super large and just have a teeny tiny little Jacuzzi, Makes no sense ! I love the fact that I’m just a block away from the water, The beach around the corner. I have a two bedroom, one bath super spacious, with a huge balcony. I highly recommend living here If you can afford it. Unfortunately, my lease is up and I can’t continue with the Prices going up. I’m trying to find a new place to live and reading all the revie

I have absolutely loved living at AVA! It’s been such an incredible community. My apartment is spacious and beautiful. The maintenance team is incredible- and helps me immediately with anything I need. All of the staff has been so helpful, happy, and warm welcoming- Alex and Melissa in particular have been great to work with! The environment is stunning. The pool is heated and feels great all year round, the gym has everything you need, there is a lovely volleyball game amongst neighbors every night- it’s such a fun spot to live for my family and I. There is 24 hour security (although I’ve never felt like I needed it), and parking for both my partner and I. I cannot say enough good things about this spot.

Disappointing Experience as a Guest at AVA I don't usually write negative reviews, but I feel like I need to share my experience. I'm not a resident at AVA, but I have close friends who live there. During a recent visit, I stayed with a friend and used the gym. The gym itself is great--modern, clean, and full of equipment. I tried to be considerate by using it during quieter times to avoid bothering anyone. However, I didn't know that guests aren't allowed to use the gym. If I had known, I wouldn't have used it. Yesterday, while I was working out, someone asked if I lived in the building. I told him I was staying with a friend. He spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful way, telling me to leave immediately. I told him to call management so I could explain. When management arrived, they we
